ESL/ELL Teacher - Full-Time or Part-Time
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking English as a Second Language Teachers (ESL) to provide in-person services for charter school students. These positions are for the current school year.
Position 1:
- Part-Time
- 7-8 hours per week needed (flexible scheduling during school hours)
- Small caseload
- Middle school students
Position 2:
- Full-Time
- Mon-Fri (30-37.5 hours per week)
- Grades K-12
English as a Second Language Teacher Qualification(s):
- Must have a ESL Specialist Teaching Certification through Pennsylvania Department of Education *TESOL Certification not accepted*
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
English as a Second Language Teacher Responsibilities May Include:
- Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
- Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
- Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
