Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Substitute School Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide in-person services for public school students grades K-12th. This position is for the remainder of the current school year.

Licensed Practical Nurse Pay Range: $50-$60 per hour

Licensed Practical Nurse Position Details:

  • Anticipated a few times - half a dozen coverages per month
  • Would be providing coverage in the nurse's office, helping to distribute medicine, give band aides and ice pack, take temperatures, etc.
  • School day hours are 8:00am-3:00pm

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

  • Licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain.)

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities May Include:

  • Supporting and evaluating primary and secondary students with IEPs
  • Communicating to the internal team on the content of records and summarizing benefits
  • Attending some evaluation meetings held Monday through Friday
  • Access to personal fax machine/copier/scanner for transmission of confidential documents
