Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-person 1:1 support to school students. Applicants must have certification from Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). This position is for the current school year.

Registered Behavioral Technician Salary: $30-$35 per hour

Registered Behavior Technician Position Details:

  • Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
  • 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community, with a strong focus on parent training (recommended to start with the RUBI curriculum)
  • Pre-K 3 General Education classroom

Registered Behavior Technician Qualifications:

  • Certification as an RBT from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • School Certification in New Jersey
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Registered Behavior Technician Responsibilities May Include:

  • Executing ABA therapy programs
  • Implementing appropriate behavior management techniques as prescribed by the behavior plan
  • Assisting children with daily self-help skills
  • Communicating with the team regarding all developments, problems, or concerns as needed 
  • Maintaining therapy areas and materials
