Physical Therapist (PT) - Part-Time
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide in-person services for public school students.
Position 1:
- Part-Time (2 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule between the hours of 8:30-3:30 PM
- Caseload: 1 student (Kindergarten)
- Experience working with nonverbal students and students on the spectrum preferred
- Year-round position for the upcoming school year, starting July 27th
Position 2:
- Part-Time (20 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule between the hours of 8:30-3:30 PM
- PreK-8th grade
- For the upcoming school year
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in District of Colombia
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Therapist Responsibilities May Include:
- Evaluating students to determine eligibility and need for physical therapy services
- Enhancing students' academic abilities by using a variety of techniques and/or therapeutic intervention strategies
- Providing appropriate therapeutic services
- Preparing Evaluation Reports
- Developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required
- Attending a school team or IEP meetings as necessary
