Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LGSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Part-Time
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) or Licensed Graduate Social Workers (LGSW) to provide in-person services for students. This position is for the current school year.
Position 1:
- Part-Time (1-2 days per week, 10 hours weekly)
- Involves work at middle school
- Flexible Schedule during school hours
Position 2:
- Full-time or part-time (3–5 days per week)
- Middle school students (grades 6–8)
- School hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Position 3:
- Seeking 2–5 candidates total: either two full-time providers or up to five part-time providers (all candidates must hold Medicaid-billable licensure)
- Monday–Friday during school hours
- Students aged 8–15
Social Worker Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC
- School Certification as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:
- Providing Behavioral Support Services to HS students
- Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Handling Medicare reimbursements
