Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a full-time Art Teacher to provide in-person services to K-12 special education school students. This position is at a year-round school and is for the current school year. MUST be eligible for Special Education Certification.
Art Teacher Position Details:
- M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM
- Background working with Special Education/Behavioral Health Diagnosis population preferred.
- School could help Art teacher through the process of applying for a provisional license and can work with it in process
- All students have behavioral problems but operate off of a regular curriculum.
- Intervention Training provided by school
Art Teacher Qualification(s):
- Maryland teaching certification in Art (PreK–12) or eligibility to obtain it
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
