Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a PA Department of Education Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide in-home evaluations and ongoing IEP services for cyber school students throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Travel is reimbursed and scheduling is flexible. 

This position is for ESY and the upcoming school year. 

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Schedule: Flexible/Part-Time

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Salary Range: $70-$80 per hour

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) 

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Responsibilities May Include:

  • Developing material and lesson plans
  • Evaluating and accessing students' performance
  • Participating in parent/teacher conferences
