Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking School Social Workers to provide in-person services for public school students. NJ Department of Education School Social Worker certification is required.
This position is for the remainder of the current school year, continuing into ESY and the following school year.
School Social Worker Salary: $40-$50 per hour
School Social Worker Qualification(s):
- Must be licensed as a Social Worker in the state of New Jersey
- Must have School Certification in the state of New Jersey
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain.)
School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:
- Meeting with students
- Assessing the emotional needs of students
- Providing support and resources strategies to the team
- Collaborating with students on organization or time management skills
- Documenting data into the school system and completing IEPs
