School Social Worker - Full-Time or Part-Time - Several Needed

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking several School Social Workers to provide in-person services for charter school students with multiple disabilities. The caseload for this position is 25-30 students. Applicants must have 2-3 years of school-based experience and familiarity with the DC SEDS Easy IEP documentation system. These positions are for the 2023/2024 school year.

School Social Worker Days/Hours Needed: Monday-Friday/8:30 AM - 3:45 PM

• Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Part-Time: 15-20 hours per week

School Social Worker Salary Range: $45-$50 per hour

School Social Worker Qualifications:

• Licensure in the District of Columbia (LICSW OR LCSW)
• School-based experience (2-3 years)
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:

• Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
• Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Handling Medicare reimbursements
