We are currently seeking a dedicated PA certified Reading Specialist to join a charter high school in Philadelphia, PA and contribute to the educational growth of students.
Position Overview: As a Reading Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting literacy, research skills, and a love for reading among students. This part-time position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a significant impact on students' academic journeys. Come to the building for one hour each morning to teach a small remedial reading class. Private parking lot is available.
Qualifications:
- State certification as a Reading Specialist
- PA State Teaching License
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities May Include:
- Teach students basic reading skills
