As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking full-time Paraprofessionals to provide in-person services for charter school students. Entry level, high school diploma required. These positions are for the remainder of the current school year and the next school year.

Paraprofessional Salary Range: $19-$21 per hour 

Paraprofessional Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Paraprofessional Qualifications:

• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Applicant will have an AA, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry orders and deliveries short distances.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a school environment.
• Able to draft and create documents and spreadsheets.

Dedicated Aide/Paraprofessional Essential Attributes:

• Adapt classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the teacher for the purpose of providing an opportunity for students with disabilities or special needs to participate in classroom activities.
• Implement academic instruction taught by a teacher for individuals or small groups for the purpose of meeting learning goals, as described by an IEP and/or district benchmarks.
• Implement behavioral plans designed by IEP team for students with behavior disorders or other special conditions; document progress.
• Participate, as appropriate, in communication between school and home per a student’s IEP.
• Confer with teachers on a regular basis for the purpose of assisting in evaluating the progress of students with disabilities or special needs and/or implementing IEP objectives.
