Occupational Therapist - Full-Time or Part-Time-Leave Coverage
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-person services for students at a private special services school. Caseload is 10-20 students.
This position is for a maternity leave coverage for September through October of next school year.
Coverage for ESY may be a possibility.
Occupational Therapist Salary Range: $60-$70 per hour
Occupational Therapist Scheduling:
- Maternity Leave Dates/Schedule: Regular school year/8:30am-3:30pm, 3-5 days per week based on provider's availability.
- (If necessary) Extended School Year Dates/Schedule: July 8-August 16/Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
Occupational Therapist Qualification(s):
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- School Certification in the state of New Jersey
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities May Include:
- Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs that impact educational goals.
- Assisting in evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require occupational therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
