Occupational Therapist (School) - Full-Time or Part-Time-ESY
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking several Occupational Therapists to provide in-person services for Pre-K-12th public school students. School-based experience is required.
These positions are for the Extended School Year (ESY) Program.
Occupational Therapist Salary Range: $55-60 per hour
Occupational Therapist Days/Hours Needed:
ESY Start/End Dates:
*Infants and Toddlers: 6/24/24-8/1/24
*General and Special Education Population: 7/1/24-8/1/24
Schedule: Monday-Thursday/Hours: 9:30AM-2:30PM or 8:30AM-1:30PM / 1-4 day availability will be accepted
Grade Levels:
Pre-K : Infants and Toddlers
K-12: General Education Population
K-12: Special Education Population
Assessments Needed-No services or assessments are provided on Fridays.
Occupational Therapist Qualification(s):
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- School-Based Experience is required
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities May Include:
- Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs that impact educational goals.
- Assisting in evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require occupational therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
