Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a Licensed Counselor to provide in-person services for public middle school students. This position is for the remainder of the current school year.
Licensed Counselor Days/Hours Needed: Monday-Friday/8:00am-3:30pm
Licensed Counselor Salary Range: $35.25-$39.75 per hour
Licensed Counselor Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Counselor or Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
- Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
