Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Part-Time
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor to provide in-person services for charter school students. This position is for the upcoming school year.
Licensed Counselor Schedule:
- Part-Time (21 hours / 3-5 days per week)
- School Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Flexible Scheduling
Licensed Counselor Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential, issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Counselor or Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
- Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
