Job Description

As part of our mission to provide exceptional care and support for students, we are currently seeking a 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) for a school-based role in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized care to a student throughout the school day.

Job Details:

  • Type of School: Public

  • Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:45 PM (Full-Time)

  • Caseload: One male junior/senior high school-aged student

  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide 1:1 care, including riding the bus with the student
    • Support the student’s needs throughout the school day
    • Assist with nonverbal communication and walking
    • Manage seizure protocols and respond as needed

Position Details:

  • Duration: Remainder of the current school year
  • Salary Range: $50-$60 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in New Jersey (school certification not required for 1:1 placement)
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable working with nonverbal students and providing physical assistance as needed
  • Experience with or willingness to learn about seizure management
